All Plastic Bags, Why There're Some Differences?

High density polyethylene (HDPE)
High density polyethylene (HDPE) is one of the most commonly used plastics in the world. It is light weight, relatively transparent, resistant to water and high temperature and has high tensile strength. In addition, high-density polyethylene plastic bags comply with USDA and FDA guidelines for food handling, making them a popular choice for food storage and supply in takeout and retail.

Low density polyethylene (LDPE)
Low density polyethylene (LDPE) plastic bags are commonly used for utility bags, food bags, bread bags and bags with moderate strength and tensile properties. Although LDPE bags are not as strong as HDPE bags, they can store bulk items, especially food and meat products.

Linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE)
The main difference between linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) plastic and linear low density polyethylene (LDPE) plastic is that the latter has slightly thinner specifications. However, the biggest advantage of the plastic is that there is no difference in strength, which allows users to save money without affecting quality.

Medium density polyethylene (MDPE)
MDPE is clearer than HDPE, but less transparent than LDPE. Bags made of medium density polyethylene (MDPE) do not have high strength and they do not stretch well, so they are not preferred for carrying or storing bulk products.

Polypropylene (PP)
PP woven shopping bag has high chemical strength and tolerance. Unlike other bags, polypropylene (PP) bags are airtight and are ideal for retail because of their long shelf life. Polypropylene plastic bags is also used in food packaging, where other items such as sweets, nuts and herbs can be easily stored in bags made from it. This bag is clearer than other bags, allowing the user to improve visibility. The high melting point of PP woven shopping bags also make them ideal for heat sealing, and like other plastic bags, usda and FDA approved for food handling.
